Our Story

Derek and Catherine Hayward run Premier Cattle Co. – a Speckle Park and Murray Grey stud farm. The farm calves 120 cows annually and has been internationally recognised in the Speckle Park market for its studs and breeding stock.  They also run a sharemilking operation with bloodlines that date back to when Derek's grandfather was a dairy farmer – a testament to the strength of the Haywards breeding. The Premier brand was established in the early 90s and has grown to a calving herd of over 420 cows.
